Read Play Talk Festival & Community Expo

Held annually during Halloween weekend, the Read Play Talk Festival & Community Expo is one of Read Play Talk's largest family events of the year. In partnership with the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce, this fall celebration brings together families, community organizations, local businesses, and Mesquite ISD programs for a day of learning, connection, and family fun.

Read Play Talk Fair

Held each spring at Mesquite High School, the Read Play Talk Fair is a free community event designed to help families discover fun and meaningful ways to read, play, and talk together at home. Families can connect with valuable resources while exploring educational opportunities available throughout the community.

Read Play Talk Pop-Ups

Throughout the year, the Read Play Talk Bus brings literacy, learning, and family engagement directly into the community through Pop-Up events held at libraries, parks, schools, community centers, and other family-friendly locations. These events make it easy for families to access resources, engage with their children, and build positive learning experiences close to home.
